Very... Cyber...

The electronic sound you gave this song is one the best I've ever heard, but the percussion - It seems like it doesn't quite fit 100%.
At any rate it still does seem like it works for the most part.
The song overall makes me imagine I'm inside a giant computer.

I wish I could make music like this, I'm still struggling to figure out how... then again I'm new to making music.

Vivid climax tension... I like that

You know what this reminds me of the part in portal 2 just after the robot that was helping you suddenly turns corrupt and then sends you to very bottom of the factory... which looks like a canyon-like, underground junkyard. (this would make good background music for that part in the game I think)

The echo in this song is one that Gives it a outward and wide open feel, almost to a sense of danger(don't worry, people with agoraphobia probably won't vote this down).
I see why you call it ambient, but at the same time I feel this is also a trance song. The song itself is very lowly but gives a vivid and rippling kind of feel I think. I see what you mean when you say your going for a "chill feel".
You definitely gave it that feel

Its great

Gonna be honest it sounds like a cross between trance and something else... like dub-step or techno or something - can't quite put my finger on it. As I listen to this I get a sense I might here it in a flash portal in the future.
I like it though - it gives a sense of twilight but sustains an epic and gradually growing tension. still... I feel like something's missing...

PS: I hate it when recordings disagree with you too... I sometimes suffer similar problems.

TheClockStruckOne responds:

I know what you mean by the fact that 'something's missing.' It might just be the way it was made. Trackers tend to give a bit of a flatter feel to music, and this is one of those songs that needs a bit of a heavy, yet floaty atmosphere to it. Still, you gotta make due with the medium.

Thanks for the input though. Was my first time really working with trackers, so I'll try and improve with them in the future. :)

Its... Perfect... but... not finished?

Right off the bat - this sounds like a menu theme... that of an epic game. Kinda reminds me of Metroid.
I can't wait to see the finished version (I gave you a 10... on a demo). It sounds very spacial and cosmic but has club-like beat.
That said this is DEFINITELY a trance song.
You know I should reference this song as a "perfect example of trance" in the future.

Stratusfear responds:

Lol, I don't know what to do with this right now so I'll keep it as a demo. Either way, u'll b the first to know when it is perfected! (if you liked this, then i'd recommend my La Companella remix, or my stairway remix, or Deep Oceans as well, you might like those ^^.) Thanks for the awesome review! I'll try my best on this one!

Very good

a very unique blend of heavy metal rhythm that intensifies as it progresses.
My one problem is the ending... I feel like I didn't here all of it.

FromWithinReach responds:

Thanks man, yeah its normally longer.. might change it up a bit. Glad you liked it!

Perfection

This song give an epic feel from start to finish... The guitars are perfect, the drums are perfect, solos are perfect, on top of it all you did an amazing job with making it sound like a super improved pokemon song.
I think this song makes a great character intro in a movie

Burn7 responds:

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it, I really tried for making an upgrade from the original into Metal badassery.

Thanks for giving it a listen! :D

... Its ok but it could use some work

First of all the intro seems little off, I recommend you try to change the tone or start with a low sounding bass and maybe lighten up on the "twisted" sound you seem to have been trying to give it.
Their was a spot around the middle that was good (00:45 - 01:11) that was pretty well made but most the rest of the song - the patterns just seem like they don't belong, or could use some changes.

14Flame responds:

hmmmm, yeah I agree with that, thanks

Its not bad

seems like your trying to make it sound dark and shadow. This sounds more like a dark low rave, almost tribal sounding. Its a tad too repetitive, some of the patterns need to be more vibrant I think. But overall its fairly well made

kahnor111 responds:

thank you! I will take that in to consideration!

Yup...

I definitely see this being linked to Mortal Kombat. Too bad this song wasn't actually used in it though. It would have made great battle music, But I vaguely remember a song that that sounds very similar... don't remember what it was.

NemesisTheory responds:

Haha, it's definitely the style and key it's played in that sounds so similar to MK. Granted I put a small reference to the MK soundtrack in the song and shouldnt be hard to find. ;o

Thanks for the review! <3

Mind blowing

I think this would make a good final boss music in a game. Judging by how it sound it would be that of a gigantic robot alien or something.

If P-bot had a theme song (that I knew of), THIS should be it.
thats's what I think.

Overall very well made, I hope to see more

This site is so swell I'll give this site all my sanity... whatever is left of it that is...
